Baby No More!

When I took my three-week vacation last October 1, 2006 and came back home, our Poypoy was sleeping then when I first saw him. But when he finally woke up the next day, I knew I was about to see for myself all the changes in our son that Mommy Taweng has been bragging about!

All my 21 days at home, I’ve found out a lot of new things from my son!

He can count numbers from 1 to 20. He can recite the alphabet. He can recognize almost every kind of animals found in his baby books. He can easily climb the stairs without any help. He can easily outrun almost anybody, with matching little hops and jumps. He can distinguish a lot of cartoon characters. He can tell you the taste of his food and the vehicle that Daddy is riding in the sky.

He listens only to Ninang Joy during times of learning and reading his books. He watches attentively to any video flicks with elmo, ernie, barney, jollibee or hi-five in it. He prays to Papa Jesus, Mama Mary and Nino every night. He reacts gleefully when you play with him. He blames you (lagot!) whenever he does something bad, with finger gesturing at that! He thanks you whenever he wants something from you.

I love it whenever he playfully gestures "Appear! Aline! Approve!!"

But my all-time favorite is when I see and hear him sing, "Daddy, Daddy, I Yav You!"

Oh my God! Barely two weeks back from work but I already miss my big boy Johann!!!
